A Tryst with Space-Time and That Beyond

An insight onto the stairway to heaven is every man’s mission; for some, they tread the path of religion and others choose the path of science, and though they don’t acknowledge each other yet they share their common objective, although through parallel paths. At several points in time, the two seems to converge, especially at the highest point of philosophy, the point of singularity and the point of resultant space-time projections.

Man, from ages back in time has been intrigued by the mystery of life and origin of Universe. Mankind has seen life sprouting from the grasslands, birds laying eggs and its transformation into a flying bird which defies gravity at ease. He has seen mammals giving birth to their replicas and its consequent growth into their defined form. There are millions of unknown species within the water-world. Life is complex and unfathomable to the mankind. He is trying to unravel the mysteries of his own birth from the single celled organism to the complex Homo sapiens.

Science has attributed the origin of Universe to the big bang and the religions  has ascribed it to the will and fancy of a superhuman entity, the divine God. We have been able to unravel few secrets of the universe and life in general with discoveries of new galaxies, black holes, dark matter etc in the observable universe. This also means there’s lot outside the observable Universe as well. In the field of Life Science , the theory of evolution has ascribed a serial evolution of physical frame and intelligence owing to natural selection but no one knows why some living beings went extinct though natural selection should have favored them. The presumption that evolution of the genes happens by natural selection also points to the factors that can bring about changes at the DNA level. It is interesting that DNA is intelligent enough to adjust itself into higher evolutionary mode and evolve on its own.

The knowledge and beliefs of man has further escalated and crystallized his yearning for knowledge into the mysteries of life. Newtonian physics could measure the speed and size of the heavenly bodies, Einstein postulated the Theory of relativity which shed new light on the concept of reality. His Energy-Mass equation showed the close connection between mass and energy and its relation with the speed of light. The Universe is constantly expanding and new galaxies are formed and dissolved; new stars are formed and old stars turn into black hole and absorb light. The vast expanse of space is filled with black matter.

With the advent of atomic science and quantum mechanics, much light has been shed in the micro world. Atoms, sub atomic particles, electromagnetic radiations etc, has further strengthened the arms of science in understanding the universe.

Mathematics and logic has evolved into precise tools for inferring, deriving, calculating, measuring, postulating and understanding the nature of physical realm. Mathematics is mysterious language which frames questions in the form of equations and  returns a solution. The entire physical realm adheres to the mathematical principles  and it wont be far fetched if mathematics be looked upon as another dimension itself apart from the space-time dimension.

Every physical object has engrained in it the defined mathematical properties like mass, geometry ,size, shape etc which can be accessed with the aid of mathematical query language, the equations, which is a query framed within the mathematical framework taking into account, the mathematical equilibrium.

Here we will visit the theory of spacetime projections,its divergence into various realms and several associated theories explored by author Unnikrishnan Attupurath who penned the magnum opus of ‘Spacetime and that Beyond’. I have tried to stretch his concepts across various realms to widen the scope of field. In this article we have touched many thrilling topics from the tachyons,atoms,mass,mind,vasanas,quantum theory,thermodynamics, the physical to metaphysical  and finally the spiritual realm.

1.Secrecy of Tachyon and Origin of the Universe

Ever since the introduction of the theory of relativity by Einstein, scientists are on the lookout for an explanation to the constancy of speed of electromagnetic waves. They are also enquiring the possibility of existence of superluminal particle moving faster than light called tachyon. The speed of electromagnetic waves is constant because, it is the speed of the physical frame of the observer with respect to his sense centre. Based on this and other factors of experience encountered in day to day life it is observed that mind is the tachyon. Using principle of relativity and equation to space-time, it is further proved that universe is a vibrating space-time field and each being is experiencing its own individual universe separate from others. Mass is unreal and sense objects are real only to the extend images and imagination are real is another outcome of this deliberations. This is also in consonance with the Mayavadi philosophy. Based on these, and applying quantum principle, all projections (experiences) are argued to be space- time packets emitted, wavelength and frequency of emissions being depended on guna (ratio of energy to momentum) inherent in the un-manifest  form of that projection called vasana which gets manifested as space-time field as a result of acceleration. Vasana consists of two components namely vikshepa and avarana, same way as electromagnetic field consists of electric and magnetic fields. Combination of vikshepa and avarana fields is a vasana packet. Vasana is also the potential energy waiting to manifest itself into kinetic energy.

The  difference from being to being is due to the difference in the amount of vasana charges present and the strength of vikshepa and avarana present. Hence  the difference between beings is essentially because of strength of inherent potential energy and its components, called vikshepa and avarna.

            2.Universal Being      

The entire universe is depicted as the projection of a Universal Being called Iswara (God) in whom all other beings called purushas exist.

This raises the question:- Is the Universal Being (Ishwara) the finality or infinite within which creative force and entity- purusha exits . Or the purushas are the  building blocks of the Universal Being .

Using the principle of uncertainty, it is concluded that Iswara and purushas are all the same that one infinite principle called Brahmam in whom each experience of finite nature is projected as a virtual particle returning back to it within no time. Universe experienced as space and time is a momentary transformation of Brahmam like waves in an ocean and is unreal. In other words, it is a delusion superimposed upon Brahmam which is ever pure, perfect and permanent. During this process of exploration, gravitational force is apprehended as the avarana force mentioned above.

Uncertainty principle indicates both particle and wave form of matter. So Ishwara and purusha reverberates alternately but remains the same.

3.THEORY OF RELATIVITY

The two postulates upon which theory of relativity rests are:

 a) There is no absolute frame of rest in the Universe. Laws of physics take the same form in all inertial frames. As the universe is expanding so  there can be no absolute frame of rest.

 b) Speed of electromagnetic wave in free space has the same value in all inertial frames. Based on the above postulates Einstein proved that matter and energy are equitable.

4.Stretching Speed beyond Velocity of Light

To explore the possibility of microscopic particles moving faster than light, the contention is that existence of such bodies will not contradict the relevance of theory of relativity, provided they always travel at a velocity greater than light and cannot be slowed down to a value less than that. These imaginary superluminal particles are called tachyons. This raises the cardinal question,”Why should there be physical limitations to speed?.”

5.Time Travel and Tachyons

From the theory of relativity, it can be seen that tachyons will be able to travel backward in time. This means that they can travel to the past and communicate us with past. What does it mean? Through tachyons you can experience things which are not yet produced! Obviously this is contradictory to our knowledge of matter and its existence. No matter can be contacted before it is produced. No matter can be destroyed before it is produced. This indicates the impossibility of existence of tachyons as material particles moving faster than light.  

6.INDIVIDUAL AND SHARED SPACE-TIME EXPERIENCES

 As every being in the universe is separate to each other in space, each of them will be having individual space-time experiences separate from one another, the degree of separation being proportionate to the relative velocity maintained with other.

           This brings out some unresolved questions.Can two entity occupy same space and share space-time experiences? Physical bodies may not occupy same space but the observer being separate from body, can two observer share same space time. When a man is supposed to be  possessed by spirits or a medium uses spirits, do they share the same space time so that they share conveged spacetime experiences.

         The approximate similarity and the resulting sense of common experience usually registered by us is only due to small relative velocities between the reference frames (physical bodies) of us.

A sleeping man and a dead mans (Spirits) experience maybe quite different from an awake live man even though the space interaction between physical body is intact.

       Each observer has his own space-time vibration separate from that of any other’s.  Universe experienced by each observer is his own manifestation. This spawns yet another question, “If Universe is not experienced by observer will it cease to exist?”

       We may have to conclude that universe is a self-projection of the experiencer in the form of space-time field. In other words, the entire universe is a projected space-time field of vibration separate for each experiencer and depended on his state of vibration which is his reference frame.

7.Mass-Real or Unreal

The atom is a space consisting of electron, proton and neutron separated by space and proton contribute to the mass. Is proton space encapsulated .Then what is mass. Is it a force with which particles hold on to themselves and resist any force. If mass is unreal, is the human body real and the surrounding world real. Is mass a pattern of space like pattern of lasers creating forms

8.Loss of Mass and birth of Energy

Mass at nearly speed of light breaks its form and transforms into energy.We come to the conclusion that projections of extremely high relative velocity, comparable with velocity of light, experienced by A (to that matter by any experiencer) will always be subtle in character. This explains why subtler objects like elementary particles are always less massive and more kinetic. It can be noted that as the mass of a particle is less, its velocity is more. As relative velocity reaches at the level of light velocity, the substance represented becomes still subtler. Here property of mass disappears and substance is reported as packet of energy like photon. This corresponds to electromagnetic field by means of which our sense organs are made. In this region of space-time field mass is zero, and all our sense experiences end here, as they cannot go to a region farther than this. Probably this loss of mass and medium of electromagnetic waves may explain the invisible pranic energy and measuring of spirit’s presence using electrical devices.

9.Mind-The space-time field beyond Electromagnetic Field.

 As intelligent beings, we know that there are realms beyond sense organs in our personality to which sense organs report and based on which faculty we are really human beings. This is the realm called Mind! So, the space-time field beyond electromagnetic field is the mind! This is made out of super sensual matters or the pranamaya kosha and chitta.

10.Mind in the Micro-Universal scale

Where the gross ends the subtle mind starts.Mind is present in every cell of body. it perceives on gross levels but if it can be used at micro level we may instruct cells to behave the way we want to. This means the use of mind to repair defects at micro levels. These may be involuntarily happening but if voluntarily employed can transcend many limitations .

11.Existence of the Past in the Present

 Any object has two aspects inherent in it due to which it is called an object. They are, a) Qualities, and b) Substance or mass Name, form, taste etc. are the qualities and substance, the massive matter in it. Name and form can exist through imagination even if matter is destroyed; i. e. name and form exist in a future time as a past memory while substance or massive matter is available only in present. Therefore, a substance of the past cannot be communicated. This also indicates that gross body when it leaves, its properties like prana can still exist .

 So, substance of past is an absurdity. But, communication can be effected with its name and form, as these can exist in a past time and space. Thus mind can go to the past time and space and communicate with them. Remember that when mind is doing this, your physical frame is existing in present only and accounts the moments of the mind as in present. Remembering is also visiting the past within the physical frame of the present. So memory also is an entity in the past pulled to the present.

Thus, in relativist’s notion, your physique is in present reference frame and your mind in a past reference frame. You are in that reference frame with which you identify yourselves. To sum up, 1) Physical world exists in present time only; there is no past for physical world. 2) Mind exists in past time only; there is no present for mind.

12.Smallest physically stable substance creates medium of life-WATER

Hydrogen is the smallest form of stable substance in physical universe because it is the lowest quantum level of stable matter perceptible to sense centre. Mass is a condensed form of spacetime as propounded by the theory of projection.

        The smallest stable thing is hydrogen and when it combines with oxygen it becomes a life supporting component, water, which is the medium of initial genesis of life. Mass and energy are same thing in different forms. It’s the density of energy which creates mass. Also it can be said that contraction of space creates mass.

13.Mind-The resultant effect of electromagnetic interactions.

 Sense centre being an electromagnetic frame, the energy and momentum content of this frame are equal and the same is quantified as h/λc .

14.Condensed and Uncondensed Energy

 Uncondensed matter in a substance decides its sense properties like size, form, colour, sound, touch, taste, smell, etc. while the condensed part is present in it in the form of its mass. Sensory karma is attributed to uncondensed energy transactions. Condensed karma translates into physical attribute.

15. Three-Dimension- A Space-time concept

 While size  denotes one-dimensional space, form is three-dimensional and denotes the uncondensed spacetime, as three-dimensional space is a spacetime concept. This has been demonstrated by the fact that we cannot measure more than one dimension at a time; or, to measure two or more dimensions at a time, interval in between every dimensional measurement is inevitable.

This in itself is a convincing proof to conclude that three dimensional space, and so form, is a spacetime phenomenon. The space -time attribute of 3D forms also point out the relation between the  geo- location and time for a form to manifest and exist . This may be the basis for casting horoscopes on the basis of location or geo-coordinates(space) and time.

16.ATOM-The Space-Time Quantum

Atom is the minimum size of Spacetime Quantum. The smallest stable atom in nature is Hydrogen atom and the heaviest atom naturally occurring, as known today, is uranium (U) with a mass 236.15 x mass of hydrogen atom. Mass of the heaviest atom yet now synthesized (Lawrencium) is 257 x mass of hydrogen.

Vasana charges arranged differently constitute atoms right from hydrogen to uranium based on the principle of wave equation. Atoms arranged differently constitute various forms of molecules present in the universe. Molecules arranged differently constitute all the objects observed. Every being tries to arrange and rearrange these objects to suit to its taste continuously as the life flows.

 In this process it can be noted that in macro level all vasana charges are encompassed in the quantum level of atom, all atoms are encompassed in the quantum level of molecule, all molecules in object, all objects in sensation, all sensations in emotion, all emotions in satisfaction and all satisfactions in the ego. Thus, every ego constitutes a vasana packet in which Brahmam is reflected inducing dynamism for the manifestation of all these projections displaying the music called life. Vasana- atoms- molecules- sensation - emotion- satisfaction- ego- personality.each one in different combinations builds up everything called life.

17.Evolution:- Combination of free atoms to Living beings

During cooling of earth the free atoms of hydrogen,oxyen, carbon, nitrogen etc combined together to form inorganic molecules which combined to form organic molecules and later combined to form complex organic compounds and later evolved to colloidal aggregates called coacervates with membranes called the photocells- the first cells of life. These were heterotrophes which evolved into autotrophes and phototrophes. The phototrophe cells emitted oxygen and made the atmosphere conducive for unicellular organisms which evolved into multicellular organisms and then invertebrate and vertebrate organisms.

Evolution can be defined as the struggle of purusha (jeeva) to overcome its limitations and regain perfection by changing its swabhava through the process of induction. From simple atomic configuration to complex molecular structure and replication model of cells and tissues and then organ system, evolution is transition of atoms in simple pattern to complex patterns. The prime elements, the panchabhutas are- Vayu,jal,akasha, agni, bhumi.... earth, air , fire ,water and space. The body is made of panchabhutha and with panchendriyas. Five elements and Five senses at elementary level. Air- gas, Water- Fluids ,Fire - temperature or acidic. Bhumi- body structure gathered through nutrition gathered from earth. Akasha- All four elements combinations form the body which is placed in space or akasha container.

18. (5%) of Human Brain estimates 4% of total matter in the Universe.

The amount of total matter in the universe estimated is just 4% of that expected based on the behaviour of spacetime observed. This huge amount of matter missing and not accountable now are termed as dark matter/dark energy. This clearly indicates the difference between the world of observation and measurements dealt in detail by us while discussing the theory of projection In future the observed matter could be more. Infact we could not study or use more than 5% of brain so at universal scale we can fathom our inadequacy.

19.Spacetime concept and formation of Physical body, Birth,Death and Rebirth

There is projection, dissolution and again projection with the potential of vasana still intact. This gives arise to possibility of new projection in the form of rebirth with vasanas and gunas encapsulated within the space-time object which has karmic map engrained into the DNA  and continuous across every cell of the body. Thus a single cell can tell the story of the entire body.

It is this recaptured vasanas that reappear through new cause-effect relationship as soon as it matures through induction. Concept of rebirth which seems to be inevitable in this state as the vasanas has no choice but to be recaptured and projected again. This again reminds one of the paramount importance given to non attachment in spiritual realms.

 This desire manifesting as vasana potential (as energy-momentum potential in spacetime) in causal form gets absorbed in the karana sareera (causal body) and merges with the remaining latent vasanas there yet to be projected.

The different gunas scattered freely in this subtle field of total vasanas called Karana shareera, field of vasanas, which in turn encapsulate gunas. Karana shareera is the causal body or the subtle body as indicated by Swami Yukteswar in his book, 'The Holy Science '.

     20.Vasanas-the basis of Psychology.

                Vasanas thus recollected are independent packets disconnected to each other arising based on specific experiences at different occasions unrelated to one another. As such, they are at maximum disorder as latent vasanas in karana sareera. The karana sareera now with this new vasanas included represents the modified state of the being / projection in its potential stage imprinting the changes in gunas it has undergone during the stage of projection just completed by it. The vasana packets are independent so it also indicates why at certain time certain desire arises. This may also be suggestive of split personality and other psychological conditions in future. This probably explains mood swings too.

  21.ENTROPY and CREATION

 In thermodynamics, if a given set of quantities exist as totally disordered (chaotic), they are said to be having maximum entropy. In this stage they are unrelated to each other and possess maximum degree of freedom. Gases at expanded state whose molecules flow freely at different directions uncontrolled, is an example for the state of high entropy. When a given set of quantities are put in certain specific order, their degree of freedom decreases and accordingly, their entropy decreases as in the case of the same gas when get compressed in above example. Change in entropy is an important criterion in generating requisite driving force and deciding the direction of process in number of phenomena, both mechanical and chemical. Such changes are achieved through appropriate thermodynamic operations. The Karana shareera is highly chaotic with the vasanas lying in high disorder and thus in highest possible entropy which indicates lack of order as the very concept of order curtails individual freedom which creates chaos and hence high entropy. Creativity is arranging different aspects lying in disorder into ordered and perceivable pattern which can be used in real life applications. So creativity and entropy is inverse in relationship as creativity needs things to be ordered in nature. It is the order which creates patterns at atomic, molecular and every other levels .Several patterns creates systems and super systems. Thus the order from the guna level to the grossest level is key to life and its very defining factor.

  

  22.Thermodynamics of Space-Time projections

 The process of transforming the disordered vasanas into an ordered form with cause-effect relationship  achieved through an operation similar to thermodynamic operation in karana sareera and is called induction (adhi-eekshana). In thermodynamics, whether a process is irreversible or reversible is decided by the change in free energy of the system. Change in free energy denoted as ∆F is defined as, ∆F = (Free energy of the products – Free energy of the reactants), or, (Free energy after change – Free energy before change). If change in free energy ∆F is (+)ve, the process is reversible; if (-)ve it is irreversible or, spontaneous; and if zero, equilibrium is achieved. The free energy decides reversibility or irreversibility of a process in thermodynamic condition. Can we use this to explain the state of soul. If, after the soul leaves the body and the free energy is still available , can the body be brought back to life. If say, the free energy is zero then can there be future new projection of vasanas leading to new karana shareera. If the free energy is negative and irreversible, then can there be projections of such souls. Does meditation has a role in deciding entropy and thermodynamic state which if accepted suffices the claims of Yogis in deciding their body aspects , life and death followed by predetermination of ,’After death  course of Being’.

23.Space-Time Cycle and Thermodynamics of Attachment and MOKSHA

 Vasanas generated through attachment to projections experienced denotes the net positive free energy ∆F evolved in the process of projection. These are captured as fresh vasanas as a result of this work called attachment during projection (same way as the exhausted energy of an expanding gas is used to do work by moving a piston, which in turn can be used to compress the gas). As such, it ensures the reversibility and so the reoccurrence of the projection process. This is the spacetime cycle ever continuing. Spacetime cycle- Due to free positive energy Vasanas gets attached to projections and recreate and recur projections thus creating a cycle of rebirths . Moksha is escape from this cycle. 

However it is to be seen if Moksha happens when free energy is zero or negative, the point of no return or irreversible thermodynamic process. At zero free energy the system is in equilibrium which may be swarupa samadhi achieved by Mahavatar Babaji. This is freezing of form which happens when one does not want to dissolve his form. They can also be called chiranjeevi or the deathless one. In Hinduism some chiranjeevi’s are Lord Hanuman, Lord Parasuram, Ashwathama etc.

24.Induction of Vasanas

 Induction is the process (adhi-eekshana) where in vasana in its avarana form (ignorance/inert) is activated/ accelerates evolving induced force vikshepa to fortify and emit spacetime projections of varying gunas.

 All projections right from intellect to massive matter is manifest through induction. Subtle and gross matter is manifested through induction.

25.Acceleration of Vasanas

 Accelerating matured vasanas manifests as spacetime events continuously. Attachment to events thus projected and desire for the events of attachment leads to its recollection as vasanas.  - Effort undertaken to realise the particular desire, maturing of vasanas (putting such vasana packets fortified through efforts undertaken for their fulfillment in cause-effect order ready for projection), are all resulting by means of induction. Vasanas when accelerated manifest as space time events and attachment to these events leads to recollection of vasanas. Desires when fortified through actions reinforce the vasanas.

26.Transformation of Vasanas to Atoms and Tachyons

 Nature of same event at different realms is different. - In space & time the event exists as gross material made of atoms. In spacetime beyond senses it exists as subtle name and form made up of tachyons. In karana sareera it exists in causal form as vasana. In space, the events exist with the aid of atoms; in spacetime, in the form of tacheyons and in karana shareera as vasanas. The arena of event transforms vasana to tacheyons and atoms. This reminds how Swami Yukteswar has resurrected before Swami Yogananda and later dissolved his body of atoms. Thus we find that the seed of vasana grows into plant called tacheyons which later grows into the tree called atoms. The body is infact arrangement of atoms into molecules , cells and tissues. The molecules and cells are involved in biochemical activities which makes life possible.

27.Space-time Projection and Astrology

 Experiencing the events as spacetime projections of acquired and matured vasanas of the past arriving invariably is called prarabdha, which is to be experienced as life in the spacetime projection. These vasanas are decoded through the astrological charts which is essentially karmic map. As life is space- time projection, space- geological location and time of projection helps in decoding the vasanas which is to be manifested in the future. Life needs events in space to be tied up with time. Time is kept by the motion of earth and sun. So we know the concept of time involves the heavenly bodies. This is infact predicted by astrologers that certain events happen at certain place when certain celestial configuration manifests. The time aspect within the spacetime concept is closely associated with the celestial configuration. As the celestial configuration can be predetermined, certain events could also be predicted accordingly.  The celestial configuration triggers the induction process of manifestation of vasana packets. The DNA also stores information of characteristics of form and vasanas which on reproduction is transferred on to the offsprings. Thus we find that vasanas are passed down to future generations through DNA.

28.Yoga- Technique to dissolve Vasanas and Karmas

 Reaction to experiences  occurring gives rise to new vasanas called purushartha. The experience of vasanas in a spacetime projection is called life . The vasanas when get transformed into energy aspect is Prana. The regulation of prana energy is called pranayama and thus pranayama can regulate vasanas which is infact inert karma. This explains why meditation and pranayama is used to dissolve karma and sins. When the vasana packet is fully dissolved then there is no future projection in spacetime and moskha happens. The reaction to events also creates the seed of new vasanas thus paving way for rebirth. Non-violence or non-reaction to violence

29.Sat-Chit-Ananda

 At the time of experience, the projection experienced eventually dissolves and disappears in Brahmam,  enabling its enjoyment manifesting as satisfaction of experiencing the object or idea sought in terms of ‘happiness-knowledge-sense of reality’, even though coloured by the guna of that particular projection. The end result of life projection is experience of sat- Truth of reality, chit-knowledge or consciousness, ananda- bliss which ultimately dissolve into brahmam.

30.Bhagvad Gita and Space-time concept.

The Bhagvad Gita is known for its philosophy of Karma, non attachment to Karma and Moksha.If the projection event occurring is allowed to exhaust without getting attached to it as it is experienced, it gets completely dissolved in Brahmam leaving out nothing, and so occurs as spontaneous. This is similar to Joule-Thomson expansion in thermodynamics where free energy of the product, ∆H = 0. As gradually all the matured vasanas that are in ordered form as cause-effect relationship, existing as prarabdha, get thus exhausted spontaneously and dissolved and thus disappeared, net change in free energy ∆F also equals to zero reaching the equilibrium state. This is called the state of blowing out of all the vasanas and is termed nirvana in Vedanta. The net change in free energy is zero at Nirvana which is a state of equilibrium of irreversibility. If there is no free energy, can there be activity and can nirvana be a state of super-activity rather than a inert inactive state. No one wants to be non existent. Spiritual fraternity always crave for higher divinity or consciousness which the state of zero free energy can describe is to be seen. At Nirvana with a state of no vasana, if at all, there is activity then the first activity may be spontaneous but the second activity may or may not be. Again, will there be no accumulation of different kind of vasanas further aspiring to another state of nirvana. Can there be a cycle of nirvana itself. Nirvana cannot be non existing state . One equilibrium state my aspire for another or higher equilibrium state.

At nirvana, ∆H =0, ∆F =0. In spacetime concept, this is the state where, ∆T = 0 when free energy and change in free energy is zero in the nirvana state, change in time is zero, a spacetime concept. When time is zero, can there be a projection if there can be no time lapses or there is no concept of time or sense of time in this state . Without a projection , in a inert state and no time, can there be consciousness . In sleep state and dream projection also there is no sense of time yet an existence in dream world but with no distinct will. Dream maybe a mini projection within a large projection. This reminds of the Universal form in the Gita wherein the entire cosmos is seen by Arjuna within the Universal Form, mini projections within Universal form.

31.Principle of Equilibrium & Threshold

 Manipulations at physical level, both at body level and in external Nature,beyond certain threshold limits lead to imbalance and ends up in disaster. Equilibrium and thresholds are evident in all systems. We too are  part of a system  wherein these factors are important . Threshold defines the point beyond which the equilibrium is lost and the system changes itself and pursue a new equilibrium . Till the body is in equilibrium we live.

32.From Vichara(Contemplation) to Moksha(Liberation)

While ordered vasanas are projected by instinct as prarabdha, vichara (turning them towards the ideal) needs to be developed through purushartha. Disordered vasanas in karana sareera, i.e. vasanas not yet put in order called sanchita and agamika cannot therefore be dissolved in Brahmam like prarabdha which are already at an ordered form. However it is told by the great rishis that, being tender in nature, once these vasanas are purified with intense meditation (through vichara) for a long period of time and made totally transparent, they also can be dissolved in this very life to achieve total freedom from any sort of bondage, called moksha or atmasakshatkara (self realisation) by getting one with Brahmam. Vichara on Brahmam will get attachment to brahmam  and  how can such attachment lead to Moksha which is  a state of one without a second.

33.Brahmi Sthiti

It is a living satiated state of completeness, of sublime contentment, of absolute awareness, of supreme peace reached and reveled in by a practitioner as the Ultimate Essence of all the material, emotional and intellectual conglomerations arising as life. It is a state of living hundred percent in the present. It is the awakening to turiya, the fourth state of existence beyond the three states of waking, dream and deep sleep now experienced, here and now. Is Brahmisthiti the heights of projection or a state outside it or a communication between the projection and its source. If there is communion with the source, the amplitude and wavelength of projection should be zero and at this zero coordinate, the moot point is if there can there be any projections.

34.Projections-Real,Unreal or Illusion 

What is this concept- ‘Beyond real and unreal.’  For a projection, its existence is real and those not in perceptible range may be assumed as unreal. The coordinates on which projection arises, it is merely temporary reality. Can any projection go beyond the coordinates? Either it is there- real or it is not there- unreal . Or it appears to be there but in reality it doesn’t exist- illusion or rather  it appears to be not there but it still exists; not all existing things can be perceived or comprehended. One reality is absolute reality and the other reality is relative reality which needs a observer without which it does not exist.

35.The Question of Reality

If the perceptions of the universe is unreal then how can we decisively say if universe is real or unreal. How the unreal intellect has produced mathematical equations which defines many aspects or parts of the physical realm and has also been experimentally verified. If the intellect cannot be trusted then what else is to be trusted and do we have any other tools at our disposal in this so called unreal world.

And what is the scope of reality in the unreal world. Why should we strive for perfection in unreality . If the objective is transcending from unreality to reality then there is a tenable objective. This spawns yet another question, ‘Can an intellect of unreality be used to cross over it to the higher Turiya state of higher awareness.’

36.The Fourth State- Turiya State.

From the absolute point Brahmam is the State of Pure Consciousness called turiya state (fourth state) beyond and different from all the other three states of waking, dream, and deep sleep and nothing is coming from or disappearing into it in any way, says Gaudapada in his karika (a work of pointed analysis) on theory of Adwaita (Non-dualism) later further elaborated by Sankara. This is the bold declaration of the great masters born out of their own intimate experience. Turiya state is beyond sleep, dreams and waking state.

It may be inferred as a superconscious state. If as per the sages notion,nothing comes out and goes into it then its a wonder if  such state could  be creative, as creative aspect needs something to emerge out of it. If nothing can go into it then this state has to be absolute and there can be no more scope of evolution, which anyway is not the objective os a perfect and absolute state.

37.The subtle chain of Life.

Vasana- atoms- molecules- sensation - emotion- satisfaction- ego- personality. Each one in different combinations builds up everything called life.

38.The DNA of Vasana 

At every point in life, the residual vasana will define future course of rebirth- transmigration across different species. It indicates the DNA which is the physical information center which must also be undergoing change according to the vasanas.

39.Sense and Intelligence

Gradual reduction in sensitivity to smell, hearing and eye vision (which were very high at early stages of evolution like reptiles and came down drastically in human) with simultaneous increase in sensation of touch and control over speech as well as increased intelligence and alertness.

When sensing capabilities of sight, hearing and smelling deceased, the intelligence in human beings evolved. This is probably why the scriptures invoke non attachment to sense objects as this is linked to evolution of intelligence which is precursor to the final objective, liberation.

40.Prana and Mass

All projections, living and non-living, are vikshepa-avarana combinations and a projection happens to be a living being when the ratio of vikshepa to avarana present in it is greater than unity.

When vishepa/ avarna>1 then it represents living being. Vikshepa in biological energy terms is also called prana. Avarna is mass or gross matter. When prana in an object is greater than mass then it indicates living being. Vikshepa is however present in all matters,living and non living. As the predominance of prana over matter increases, the being becomes capable of more and more control over its movements.

41.Yoga,in the light of Space-time concept

Modification of prarabdha by purushartha to rhythmic events is termed yoga. Yoga is self enacted Karma to dissolve vasanas and prarabda. It helps in reduction and hence manifestation of certain Karma.

Yoga as a tool for developing vikshepa shakti or pranic momentum which is also grossly called the-'will'. This will is required to do everything to control the body and mind .Hatha yoga develops will to control the body and pranayama develops the momentum at energy level. The total will contributed is the vikshepa shakti or the pranic momentum.

42.Incarnation as Avatara of Projection. 

Whenever this rhythm is threatened with discordance beyond boundary limits, He exercises His full freedom and enters into the manifested world as a projection of varying level of superior control over prana (yogic power) and corrects the generation to re-establish the rhythm (dharma). This is called avatara or, incarnation of God. To bring harmony in the projections , a superior projection in the form of incarnation is projected.

43.Cycle of Evolution and Devolution  from Sleep to Waking State.

The first stage of evolution is marked by our waking up from sleep. This is happening as a natural process at unconscious level through induction in karana sareera. The vikshepa sakti is gradually allowed to increase ultimately projecting us to the waking stage as a series of momentary projections. Evolution from sleep to waking stage; sleep n waking cycle is perennial till the final sleep which is death. The bio clock  wakes us and induces sleep too. Sleep is also a micro waking state.

44.Titiksha (Forbearance)

 Titiksha (forbearance) is that faculty of the mind to endure the sorrows and sufferings it subjected to for a cause which has been accepted by the individual as ideal, perfect, divine and noble without any sense of revenge or struggle for redress.

Krishna spared the hunter who struck arrow at him; Jesus suffered and spared those who crucified him and Guru Teghbahadur also had no animosity towards his tormentors who sawed and ripped his body apart. Accepting the suffering and not reacting may aggravate the suffering but it also ends the chain of action and reaction which puts end to vasanas and  re-projections .Krishnas philosophy was to react and to suffer also but without any attachment , a core philosophy of Bhagvad Gita, the scripture of Karma decoded.

45.Inverse relationship of Physical and Mental activity.

Physical activity and Mental activity are inversely proportional. The more the mental activity, the less is the physical activity. In the silence, the best of mental activity happens.

46.System, a cage for evolution.

Evolution within a system has its limitations inherent to the system so absolute independence is not likely within any system. For absolute independence there should be no limitations of a system and no parameters and principles of the system should be applicable. Principles applicable within a system itself acts as limitations to align to the system and is contradictory to the nature of freedom and independence. Evolution can be then defined as highest possible degree of independence within a concerned system.

47.Marxism, a philosophy of failure.

Marxian communism aims at equitable level of standard of living by control and equal distribution of material wealth produced in the society through horizontal growth. Here, contentment of an individual is defined as the satisfaction of his wants for sense pleasures and as such, equal availability of material wealth to acquire and consume the desired object of sense pleasures is described as the means to communism.

 History of the erstwhile Socialist Blocks of the world stands as a convincing proof to this conclusion. Thus, class struggle leads from inter-depended existence to depended existence and ultimate collapse while Satyagraha leads from depended-inter depended existence to independent while inter-dependent existence and ultimate freedom. This is the reason why communism should fail.

  

48.Nervous system, an Electrical System.

The central nerve system consists of three groups of nerves (nadies) namely ida, pingala and sushumna.The five circuits of prana are connected to ida and pingala while the third one, sushumna remains closed .

This reminds of three phases of electric circuit-Positive,negative and neutral. The similarity to the electric system has to be explored further.

49.The Super-Sensors of Body.

 At the physical realm and level there are various kinds of sensors which receives and sends signals to the brain, which interprets these signals as sensations in the form of  touch, taste, smell and still higher sensory outcome like vision and sound hearing capability. These sensors and sense organs decide the complexity of a living organism. These senses exists in various degrees of complexity across the living beings.

The sense organs of living beings are Eyes, Ears, Nose, Tongue and Skin. There are two Eyes and Ears which perform one function while the Nose can perform multitasking like  Smelling and Breathing. Infact Nose is the gateway of Prana. Tongue can taste and talk as well. Interestingly all these sense organs are designed and positioned in the head and hence closer to the brain; thus these sense organs can also be looked upon as extension of the brain itself on the gross level.

 Prana energizes these senses of knowledge that receive information from the surroundings.

On the Chakra level, the Chakra locations are in Head-2( Sahasra & Agna),Neck-1( Vishuddi),Chest-1( Anahata),stomach-1(Manipura),genital area-1(Swadhishtana),bottom end of spine-1(Muladhara).These are the power house of the body. The Chakras begin at bottom end of spine and extend on the top of the brain. The spine is the conduit of Kundalini energy which passes through various bio-transformers,chakras. In the energy parlance,the meeting of Kundalini energy starting its journey from the bottom of the spine to the top of brain and thus brings about enlightenment.

50.Story of the Last Vasana

In the spiritual treatise, 'Autobiography of a Yogi’, the eternal  Mahavatar Babaji manifests a Kingly Palace out of thin air for the great Yogi Lahiri Mahasaya. Even though he was a great yogi, yet a speck of latent desire was left in him which had to be fulfilled by way of projection as an event in life. As the Yogi had to probably take rebirth to fulfill this wish to dissolve the remnant vasana, his Guru materialised the palace so that this last desire waiting for projection into reality is laid to rest forever . This event also shows parallels in the real event and manifested events. It also shows that events could be projected by mind making all those connected with it co-participants and creating the perception of reality.

 This change over in perception becomes possible only if one develops sufficient sraddha, viveka and vairagya to reflect and analyse continuously, and dissociates oneself from this flow of events taking the role of a witnessing spectator.

Taking the role of observer rather than participant changes attitude, takes care of the observer and placebo effect(make believe-peception). Eagles eye view gives a comprehensive view of the observed object and this can only be possible with adequate space between the oberver and the observed. This space can also be perceived as distance or detachment.

The spacetime concept has been able to explain may secrets of life through its vasana-projection theory.There are may other theories but this theory of projection nearly explains most of the secrets. There is still miles to go in understanding this concept in full measure and in extending it to the universal realm.The futuristic mathematics and concepts will be further an evolutionary step in further expanding and extending this concept to wider arena. Time and evolution are parallel entities and as we move forward in Time, we go further nearer to the Truth. As human beings thirsty for knowledge,we can only wait.
